Trading with Little Owl Artisan

To help our markets run smoothly and fairly for everyone, we ask all stallholders to read the information below before booking. These guidelines are in place to ensure our markets remain welcoming, well‑presented, and enjoyable for both traders and customers.

General Stallholder Requirements

(Applies to all Little Owl Artisan markets)

Tables

  • Tables must be fully covered at all markets
  • Maximum table size: 6ft long x 3ft wide
  • Table coverings should reach the floor where possible for a tidy, professional presentation

For indoor markets, additional rails, racks, or display structures:

  • Must be approved in advance
  • May incur a small additional charge, depending on size and space required

Gazebos (Outdoor Markets)

  • Gazebos must be no larger than 3m x 3m
  • If you wish to use:
    • A larger gazebo, or
    • Two gazebos side‑by‑side
      you must book a double gazebo space
  • All gazebos must be suitable for outdoor use and secured appropriately

Double Pitch Requirement

  • Coffee traders, ice‑cream traders, and similar setups require a double pitch
  • This helps ensure safe spacing, customer flow, and a good experience for everyone

Please book the appropriate pitch when applying. If you’re unsure, just ask before booking.

Market‑Specific Information

The Monastery – Makers & Bakers Market

  • A limited number of tables are available to hire (18 in total)
  • Most stallholders will need to bring their own table
  • Chairs are provided
  • All tables must be covered, including hired tables
  • Stallholders are asked to donate a small tombola prize for the event
  • No hot food is permitted at this market

This is a calm, browse‑friendly market, thoughtfully curated for makers and bakers.

Victoria Market (Stalybridge)

  • Tables and chairs are provided
  • Tables must be covered
  • This market is run in partnership with Tameside Markets and takes place alongside Street Fest

Space is carefully allocated to ensure good flow and balance alongside the wider event.

Other Outdoor Markets

(Including Droylsden, Stalybridge street markets, Mossley, and Ashton Artisan Market)

  • Stallholders are responsible for bringing:
    • Gazebo (where required)
    • Table(s)
    • Chair(s)
  • Gazebo and table size limits apply as outlined above
  • Tables must be covered at all times
